chicken fajita recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 red onion, cut into thin strips
1 green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
10–12 small flour tortillas
Optional toppings:
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sour cream
Guacamole
Pico de gallo
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine chicken strips, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat.
2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
3. Add chicken and vegetables to the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until chicken is cooked through and vegetables are slightly charred.
4. Remove from grill and let cool for a few minutes before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
5. Assemble fajitas by placing chicken and vegetables on a warm tortilla, and topping with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
